Your contributions

As Production Team Leader, you are the lynchpin between planning, execution and people. You:

• Leads a team of 15 colleagues and coaches them within frameworks and procedures;
• Coordinates production planning and ensures flows run smoothly;
• Identifies and fulfils training needs among your team;
• Conducts regular development interviews and deals with human resources issues: recruitment, absenteeism, leave, timekeeping;
• Monitors and reports on production KPIs and works on optimisations;
• Provides process support for new investments and product introductions;
• Initiates and implements improvement processes; drives continuous improvement in quality, safety and efficiency;
• Serves as a bridge between the shop floor, management and other departments;
• Ensures compliance with safety, HACCP and health and safety regulations.

As a Team Leader at this employer in Brunssum, you may be assigned to 2 departments of the factory. One side of the factory involves the bakery department and the other side of the factory involves the packing department.
Working hours are from 06:00-14:00, 14:00-22:00 and 22:00-06:00. You will usually work 2 shifts, with a night shift once every 5-6 weeks.

Your profile

Must-haves:

• Demonstrated leadership experience in a manufacturing environment;
• Results- and process-oriented, with decisiveness;
• Eye for employee safety and welfare;
• You are fluent in Dutch & English; 
• Good communication skills and the ability to transfer knowledge;
• Willingness to work 2/3 shifts.

Experience in the food or bakery industry is of course very nice, but is not a requirement, it will be taught to you! 
Nice pluses are like that you have a hands-on mentality but also definitely have a strong sense of responsibility. Ultimately, you have a broad interest in process optimisation and technology and are especially interested in getting the best out of your team.
