Your contributions
In this position as Team Leader Logistics, you will lead a team of order pickers and packers. You will also monitor the progress of daily operational processes within the company and prioritise them. And further:
- Work with your team and fellow team leaders on the shop floor;
- You will lead a team of order pickers & packers;
- Have and real 'hands on' mentality and work with and drive the picking and packing process;
- You will monitor the progress of daily operational processes within our company and prioritise them appropriately.
- Conduct consultations with fellow team leaders on the shop floor to ensure set KPIs;
- Coach, motivate and mentor your team;
- Ensure optimal utilisation, productivity and commitment of your team;
- Instruct, inform and support departmental staff to ensure that work is carried out safely, efficiently and correctly, according to applicable standards.
Your profile
For this position, we are looking for someone with at least 2 years' experience in a managerial position (in logistics is a plus) and beyond:
- Are you in possession of mbo(niv4) working and thinking level;
- Minimum 2 years' experience in a managerial position (in logistics is a plus)
- Good at oral and written communication;
- Good command of the Dutch and/or English language;
- Have good communication skills and demonstrate leadership qualities;
- Work accurately and be precise in following up on appointments;
- Do you possess problem-solving skills & a helicopter view;
- Are you available full-time in alternating shifts between 7am - 11.30pm;
- You are also available on alternate weekends (with extra allowances!).
Your workplace
Our client in the Roermond region has opened an attractive newly built distribution centre where they have all logistics activities under one roof. It is a fullfilment company where that daily goods for webshops are distributed. From the multiple warehouses, a team of +/- 100 employees work daily to offer customers full logistics services. A larger organisation with the charms of a family business, everyone knows each other and the company continues to grow! For this client, we are looking for an: (Assistant) Team Leader Logistics.
