Your contributions

As Senior Project Purchaser, you will supervise development projects and client projects from a procurement perspective. In addition, you are the link between operational handling of projects, site purchases and our client's central purchasing department. Furthermore, the following tasks fall within your remit:

• As Project Buyer, you will manage the entire procurement volume of projects, both client and development projects, in collaboration with our client's various locations worldwide;
• You are responsible, during projects, for the quality, cost and performance of the procurement volume;
• Your job is to create a project-specific procurement strategy;
• You will contribute your professional expertise to the decision-making process through your participation in various projects.

Your profile

For this position, we are looking for someone with several years of experience in project procurement and project management, preferably mechanical engineering. And further:

• Have you completed a technical college or university degree, e.g. mechanical engineering, industrial engineering or similar;
• Do you have experience in functional management of interdisciplinary teams, as well as in procurement controlling/cost controlling;
• Does working in an international context with business fluency in English come naturally to you;
• Are you characterised by resilience, good communication skills, cooperation and possess good negotiation skills.
• Work in an independent and structured manner, in addition you have very good moderation skills.
• Have a travel willingness of about 10% of your working time.
