  • A very good basic salary between €3500 to €5000 gross per month, depending on sales experience and technical background the range varies;

  • Working full-time at this organisation means a working week of 39 hours a week, with a nice hour off early on Fridays;
  • Flexible working hours. You can start between 07:30 and 09:00 at the office. You can accrue overtime hours that you use at another time as time for time;
  • Partial working from home is a possibility, full-time employees are allowed to work from home 2 out of 5 days and hardware for working from home is provided. Working from home is possible from the moment you complete the induction process...;
  • Plenty of days off; in addition, a company closure between Christmas and New Year's Eve.

Your contributions

As a Technical Commercial Assistant Internal Sales, you are the most important link in customer contact. Almost every day, you will be talking to customers, which means you will quickly build up a valuable relationship with them. Are there questions, wishes, complaints or new opportunities? You know what's going on. You help the customer in every situation and ensure successful offers. Together with both the field and inside sales, you are responsible for our commercial success! This makes you a real team player, but you can also work well independently. You are the business card of this company.

  • You are the person and also adviser who gets the (potential) customer on the line first;
  • You will be responsible for providing technical and commercial support to our (potential) customers mainly in the sectors: Oil & Gas, Energy and Chemical & Petrochemical;
  • You will prepare quotations and provide our (potential) customers with the right information about our products;
  • You will build up your specific product knowledge so that you will eventually become a specialist of our products and their applications;
  • Together with your fellow Area Sales Manager, you will be responsible for maintaining and building relationships;
  • You ensure correct handling of any complaints;
  • You will follow up on quotations and use a CRM package to track customer activity.

You will be working in an office environment with a team of 5 colleagues in the Inside Sales department. Furthermore, the organisation in Echt has other departments such as Customer Service, Quality, Calibration, Finance & HR etc. The organisation, headquartered in Germany, has 43 subsidiaries and this location in Echt mainly focuses on customers within the Benelux. The location in Echt has 'only' 20-25 employees but is a very important player within the group in terms of sales and turnover.

Your profile

  • You have an HBO bachelor's degree or at least HBO working and thinking level and an educational background in the technical field;
  • You have knowledge and a lot of experience in the technical sector or you are a starter in the market and want to learn everything;
  • You are proactive, commercial and service-oriented, can work well under pressure and think along with our customers;
  • Excellent knowledge of the Dutch and English languages in word and writing is important, due to the international nature..;
  • You have knowledge of ERP and office packages;
  • You are available 39 hours a week.

The client is located in Echt and is easily accessible from Weert, Roermond, Sittard, Heerlen and Maastricht.
