Your contributions

As Area Sales Manager, you are the point of contact for our client's relations in the Netherlands, Belgium and Germany or North America. You are responsible for expanding customer relations and discovering new market opportunities. Thanks to your strong technical basis, you can give customers expert advice and help them find the right solutions. Your duties also include the following tasks:

• Building and maintaining customer relationships in the Netherlands, Belgium and Germany;
• Investigate market developments and opportunities for new product-market combinations;
• Advising customers on our technical solutions and contributing ideas on the best applications;
• Collaborate with internal teams to turn technical challenges into sustainable solutions;
• Actively respond to trends and developments in intensive livestock farming;
• Close commercial deals and contribute to the market positioning of our products;
• Build and maintain networks and lasting collaborations.

Your profile

For this vacancy, we are looking for a candidate with the following profile:

• You have a completed college education in a commercial-technical field;
• You have at least 5 years' experience as an Area Sales Manager;
• You have knowledge of intensive animal husbandry, this is a plus;
• You are commercially strong, results-oriented and creative in finding solutions;
• You have an excellent command of Dutch and English or German, both spoken and written;
• You are flexible and willing to travel regularly (you will work 50% abroad and 50% from the office in Nederweert).

Our client develops, manufactures and supplies climate computers, measuring and control equipment, weighing systems and monitoring equipment, including associated management software. From modern business premises in Nederweert, the products find their way to our dealers in the agricultural sector all over the world.

The Nederweert location is easily accessible from Weert, Roermond, Venlo and Eindhoven.
