Your contributions
In this broadly oriented role, you will ensure that the machinery and the associated infrastructure (cooling, electricity, compressed air, water, etc.) continue to function reliably and optimally. You will perform inspections, preventive maintenance and repairs, analyse malfunctions and participate in improvement projects. You also register your activities accurately in the maintenance system. You work together with colleagues and external parties, always with an eye for safety, hygiene and quality.
You will work in 2 shifts + standby (consignation shift) and have the space to develop further through internal and external training. Next year, the client is moving to 3 shifts, so you must also be willing to work 3 shifts.
Your profile
The most important thing you bring is:
- Completed MBO level 4 course in electrical engineering (or similar);
- Good knowledge of mechanical engineering principles;
- Experience in failure analysis in electrical, mechanical, pneumatic and hydraulic fields;
- Experience in a manufacturing or process environment;
- Experience with administrative processing in a maintenance/recording system;
- Willingness to work 2 or 3 shifts + on-call duty
Furthermore, it is great if you already have or are willing to obtain VCA certification.
Because you will be working in the food industry, hygiene is of paramount importance. That means: no long (artificial) nails, visible jewellery, piercings, make-up or fake eyelashes while working.
