We are looking for a Laboratory Assistant for a modern quality laboratory within a production environment. As a “Specialist Quality Control”, you are part of a team of five colleagues and work shifted day shifts. Does this sound interesting? Then read on quickly!

Your reward

Besides a full-time position in a shifted day shift, you can count on excellent working conditions:

  • A salary between €2800.00 and €3100.00 gross per month (full-time), depending on experience;
  • Allowance for working shifted shifts: €195.98 gross per month;
  • Travel allowance of €0.23 per kilometre;
  • Holidays, holiday pay and pension accrual;

You will work shifted shifts: morning shift: 07:00 to 15:30 or afternoon shift: 09:30 to 18:00. For this flexibility, you will receive the above fixed monthly allowance.

Your contributions

In this role, you will work with a close-knit team to monitor and improve the quality of raw materials, semi-finished and finished products. No two days are the same and your work really makes a difference.
As a laboratory assistant, you will be responsible for performing various chemical-analytical analyses. You assess results, release products and take action in case of deviations. You have a lot of contact with production, planning and quality departments and also support microbiological work where necessary. Your duties include:

  • Perform and review analytical measurements such as alcohol determination, density, brix, acidity, clarity, colour and wastewater analysis;
  • Release of products according to established quality standards;
  • Signal and follow up on anomalies;
  • Collaborate with production and other departments;
  • Assist with sampling and additional analyses.

Your profile

  • Experience with Completed education in chemical-analytical or food technology is of course desirable. Dutch language is mandatory, preferably you also speak English. Further: 
    • You work accurately and have a great sense of responsibility;
    • You remain calm under time pressure and shift gears easily;
    • You are flexible, practical and results-oriented;
    • You enjoy working both independently and as part of a team;
    • Good communication skills.
