Your contributions
This role comes about because the current Senior Account Manager is retiring in a certain period of time, so hence timely investment in a successor.
In this role, you will be responsible for building relationships as well as achieving commercial growth. Your duties include:
- Acquiring new clients and winning projects;
- Maintain and build on existing relationships;
- Translating customer requests into technical solutions together with engineers and calculators;
- Preparing, following up and negotiating offers;
- Spotting market developments and commercial opportunities;
- Analysing customer and market data (in order to always respond to the market and competitors) and translating this into concrete actions.
You will also have plenty of room to develop and grow into a wider.
The location of this vacancy is flexible. 75% of the working area of the projects/clients is in Central & Western Netherlands. However, the office and heart of the organisation is in Central Limburg, so you will also work here occasionally. In this, you determine your own agenda, decide which days you will be at the office to spar with your fellow Engineers/Calculators and Draftsmen.
Your profile
You are a commercially strong professional who effortlessly connects technology and customer needs. You look beyond sales and actively think about sustainable solutions. You know how to negotiate tactically and win a deal. You bring the following to be successful in the role:
- HBO working and thinking level with experience in a technical-commercial role;
- Technical affinity (e.g. with Architecture) and the ability to translate customer requests into smart, future-proof solutions;
- Full-time availability (40 hours);
- Analytically strong and skilled in making sales, margin and market analyses (Excel holds few secrets for you);
- Strong in communication, relationship management, acquisition and negotiation;
- Fluent command of the Dutch language in speech and writing. English is desirable;
- You easily interact with different stakeholders and know how to connect and get people to work together.
Your workplace
Customisation in ventilation technology that is our client. They design and produce components of air-technical installations. In short: all components for a well-functioning sustainable ventilation system in both residential and non-residential buildings.
Our client is located in central Limburg, right on the A2 motorway.
