Your contributions

Within this transport organisation with 185 employees spread over several divisions and locations, you are an important connecting factor. You switch effortlessly between drivers, planners, team leaders and management and know exactly what is going on within the organisation. No day is the same in a sector that runs 24/6 - and it is precisely this dynamism that gives you energy.

You will deal with a variety of HR issues: from absence counselling and certification management to time processing and payroll support. You work in a people-oriented, solution-oriented and decisive way. You do not wait until tomorrow if something can be solved today.

Together with an HR Assistant and the HR & Finance Manager, you will form a committed HR team in which cooperation, taking responsibility and short lines of communication are key.

What are you doing? 

• You are visible within the organisation and really get to know employees so that you connect with them & regularly visit different locations and divisions;
• You will be a point of contact for managers on a variety of HR issues;
• You liaise with external parties such as health and safety service, employment agencies, pension advisers, employment experts, confidential advisers and the UWV;
• You supervise sickness absence in a people-oriented way and actively think about reducing absenteeism;
• You manage certifications such as forklift, reach truck, ADR and Code 95;
• You will process drivers' and temps' hours on a weekly basis;
• You will support in payroll administration;
• You keep up to date with current laws and regulations within HR and transport;
• You think solution-oriented and switch gears quickly when situations call for it. 

Your profile

The most important thing in this position is that you have solid experience within the HR profession. You do not have to be able to do everything yet, but do have the ambition to develop yourself further. of business processes. 

• You preferably have hbo working and thinking level;
• You speak Dutch and English. You understand the Limburg language and culture; 
• You are socially strong and know how to easily connect with different types of people;
• You stand firm and dare to enter into conversations;
• You are flexible, committed and think in solutions;
• You work accurately and can switch well between different tasks;
• You are preferably available full-time. 32 or 36 hours per week is negotiable, provided Wednesday afternoon and Friday remain part of your working week; 
• Experience with AFAS is a plus, as is experience with Shiftbase nicely.
