Your contributions

In this position, you will be responsible for the management and further development of two companies within the renovation segment. Together with teams and management, you will build on growth, professionalisation and future-proofing. Your main activities are:

• Managing and further developing two companies within the renovation segment, each with its own character, customers and dynamics
• Building together to grow and professionalise the renovation segment, in line with the broader vision and ambition
• Translating strategy into concrete goals, opportunities and actions within the segment
• At one company, the focus is on further building structure, collaboration and a solid foundation for growth
• At the other company, the emphasis is on monitoring direction and strengthening ownership and independence
• Constantly switching between giving direction and leaving space, between building and optimising
• Intensive cooperation with group management and other parts within the organisation
• Connecting people, teams and opportunities to strengthen collaboration and results
• Thinking along in terms of content, without being the technical specialist yourself
• Encourage ownership: no taking over of decisions that teams can make themselves
• Building sustainable growth from trust, cooperation and responsibility

You work at both the Ittervoort and Barendrecht sites and also regularly visit projects. You are therefore frequently on the road and on location.

Your profile

For this position, our client is looking for a director who recognises himself in the following profile:

• Experience in a final responsibility role, preferably within engineering, construction or renovation; 
• Affinity with technology: you can think along and spar well on outlines; 
• Strong in strategy, but also practical enough to actually get things realised;
• Brings structure without making it unnecessarily complex;
• Connects people, develops teams further and steers for results, efficiency and continuity.

For leading contractors, ventilation solutions are realised within diverse renovation projects, from apartment complexes to large-scale housing renovations. With a focus on engineering, supply and installation, buildings are made healthier, more comfortable and energy-efficient, with ventilation that is truly noticeable in the daily lives of residents.

You will work from both Ittervoort and Barendrecht and will also be on the road a lot; a central location in the Netherlands is therefore most appropriate.
