Your contributions

As Logistics Coordinator, you ensure efficient and timely handling of all transport and logistics processes. You are the connecting link between internal departments, transporters and subcontractors and monitor the progress, quality and costs of goods flows. Furthermore, you will work on the following tasks:

• Drafting and coordinating daily transport schedules;
• Organising and procuring national and international transports;
• Coordinate with production, warehouse, shipping and external partners;
• Monitor delivery times and ensure high delivery reliability;
• Preparation and processing of transport, export and shipping documentation;
• Checking shipments, packaging, labelling and transport documents;
• Analyse logistics performance, lead times and transport costs;
• Identify deviations and implement improvements in logistics processes;
• Maintain contacts with transporters, drivers and subcontractors;
• Ensuring quality, safety and a neat working environment according to LEAN and 5S principles.

Your profile

For this position, we are looking for someone with the following profile:

• MBO+ working and thinking level, preferably towards logistics;
• Experience in freight forwarding, transport planning and international logistics;
• Knowledge of logistics processes, transport flows and safety regulations;
• Good command of the Dutch and English languages. German and French are an advantage;
• Experience with ERP systems and SQDC methodologies is a plus;
• You are communicatively strong, independent and team-oriented;
• You work systematically, are stress-resistant and results-oriented.

Your workplace

You will work for an international market leader with more than 10,000 employees worldwide, of which about 65 in the Netherlands. From the Maarheeze location, you will work on both new construction projects and replacement projects of technical products. The location is easily accessible from Weert, Eindhoven, Helmond, Budel and the Belgian border area, among others.
