Your contributions
As a Logistics Planning Coordinator, you act as the link between planning, staff and day-to-day logistics processes. You ensure that operations run smoothly, keep a close eye on quality and know exactly where there are opportunities to work smarter and more efficiently.
As a Logistics Planning Officer, you will ensure that day-to-day logistics operations run smoothly. Together with two fellow planning officers, you will manage a team of around 15 staff and monitor progress on the shop floor.
Your duties will include:
- Planning, allocating and coordinating work within the warehouse;
- Monitoring order flows and ensuring efficient order processing;
- Organising and coordinating charging sessions;
- Supporting colleagues with logistical and operational issues;
- Identifying bottlenecks and actively contributing ideas for improvements;
- Ensuring quality, safety and productivity within the warehouse;
- You’re a visible presence on the shop floor, you know what’s going on, and you take the initiative when processes could be improved or made more efficient.
Your profile
You are an experienced logistics professional who enjoys taking on responsibility and is good at getting people on board. You maintain a clear overview, set priorities and switch easily between different tasks.
In addition, you will have:
- Several years’ experience in a logistics or warehouse environment
- Experience in managing and supervising staff
- Strong organisational skills and a practical approach
- An interest in logistics processes and continuous improvement
- Good communication skills
- Natural leadership and a strong sense of responsibility
