For this position, we are pleased to offer you the following: 

• A salary of between €4,170.07 and €6,132.97 based on a 36-hour working week, including the IKB allowance; 
• A fixed-term contract up to and including 31 December 2026;
• A working week of 28 to 36 hours;

Your contributions

In this role, you will be responsible for a wide range of legal tasks within the field of environmental law. Your duties will include:

• Conducting legal reviews, drafting and justifying decisions;
• Preparing for and handling objection, appeal and enforcement proceedings;
• Processing Woo requests;
• To advise on the application of legislation and regulations and to contribute to the further development of policy and legal standards;
• Providing clear and accurate legal information to residents, business owners and other stakeholders;
• Working with colleagues in the spatial planning sector and the administration to reach legally sound decisions.

Your profile

You are an independent legal professional who quickly finds their feet within an organisation. You also have:

• Proven experience in environmental law;
• Work experience within a local authority is essential;
• The ability to take on and handle cases independently;
• Strong communication and writing skills;
• A meticulous, solution-oriented and proactive approach to work.
