• A competitive salary of between €2,800.00 and €3,550.00 gross per month on a full-time basis, depending on knowledge and experience;

Your contributions

As an Operational Buyer, you will ensure that the day-to-day procurement process runs smoothly and efficiently. You act as the link between operational staff and the tactical buyers, and, together with them, you help to achieve the best possible value for money and profit margins.

• You will independently maintain contact with C-suppliers and ensure that the agreements made are adhered to.
• You will manage supplier contracts at item level and monitor performance against the agreed KPIs.
• You identify opportunities for cost savings and margin improvement.
• You will handle operational complaints with suppliers and initiate improvement measures.
• You share relevant practical insights with the tactical buyers and know when to scale up.
• You always take a customer-focused approach and contribute ideas for sustainable solutions.

Your profile

You have strong communication skills and know how to bring people together in a pleasant and clear manner. As the link between different parties, it is important that you are able to adapt quickly and maintain a clear overview. You are also skilled at planning, organising and setting the right priorities. Furthermore, you recognise yourself in the following:

• You have an MBO level of working and thinking, or you are an enthusiastic and ambitious HBO graduate;
• A degree in a business or logistics-related subject would be an advantage;
• Experience in operational procurement is an advantage, but by no means a requirement;
• You have a good command of Dutch and English, both spoken and written;
• You are available full-time. Fewer hours may be discussed by mutual agreement.

The work is carried out with a strong focus on sustainability, efficiency and supply chain optimisation, with both product and logistics factored into the solutions.

Our client is based in Weert and is therefore easily accessible from Eindhoven, Helmond, Roermond and Echt.
