Your contributions

As an ERP Functional Application Manager, you’ll ensure that users can work effectively with the system and that processes run as efficiently as possible. Your duties will include:

• Functionally managing, supporting and improving the ERP environment;
• Analysing user queries and translating them into practical solutions;
• Testing, configuring and documenting changes;
• Supporting and guiding key users and end users;
• Contributing to international ERP implementations;
• Identifying bottlenecks and proposing process improvements;
• Monitoring and improving data quality;
• Contributing ideas on reports and management information;
• Working with colleagues from different departments;
• Coordination with external consultants and implementation partners.

So you’re involved in more than just the system itself. You look at the people, processes and data behind the system and seek out solutions that really work in practice.

Your profile

For this role, you do not need to be a specialist in a specific ERP system. What is more important is that you have experience in functional application management and understand how IT and business processes are interconnected. In addition, you will recognise yourself in the following:

• You have a higher vocational education (HBO) level of working and thinking;
• You have experience in the functional management of an ERP system;
• You have an understanding of business processes, for example within production, logistics, finance, sales or the supply chain;
• You work in an analytical, structured and meticulous manner;
• You are able to translate users’ queries into clear solutions;
• You have an affinity for data, reporting and process improvement;
• You have excellent communication skills and can easily adapt to different people;
• You have a good command of the Dutch and English languages;
• Knowledge of the German language is a plus;
• You are willing to travel abroad from time to time;
• Experience with Infor LN is an advantage, but not a requirement.
