Your contributions

As a Controller, you act as the link between finance and the business. You ensure reliable financial reporting, whilst looking beyond the figures alone. Through your analyses, you provide management and the board with insight into performance, opportunities and risks, and help them make informed decisions. Your duties will include:

• Preparation of monthly and annual closures;
• Provide management reports and financial analysis;
• Forecasting, budgeting and forecasting;
• KPI monitoring and performance analysis;
• Optimise financial processes and reporting;
• Advising on investments, returns and cost control;
• Identify improvement opportunities within finance and operations;
• Contribute to further professionalisation of the organisation.

You combine strategic insight with a hands-on approach. This enables you to have a direct influence on both the day-to-day running of the organisation and its future growth trajectory.
You’ll be working alongside experienced finance colleagues within a professional yet informal organisation with short lines of communication.

The role is based in Ede. You will work in Ittervoort once every two weeks, so travelling between the two locations is part of the job.

Your profile

You are an ambitious and analytical financial professional who likes to take responsibility and actively contribute to the success of the organisation. Furthermore, you fit the following profile:

• You have at least a completed college degree in Finance, Business Economics or a similar field;
• You have 3 to 7 years of relevant work experience;
• You are available for a minimum of 32 hours a week;
• Experience in financial reporting, analysis, forecasting and KPI steering;
• Strong communication skills and affinity with process improvement and organisational development;
• Experience with Exact Online and/or Lucanet is a plus.
