As a logistics service provider, our client specialises in offering total transport and logistics solutions from the Netherlands and Belgium to all European destinations. And that for both packages and pallets to complete carloads.

This is what you will do:

Together with the sales team, you go for optimal results. On a daily basis, you issue rates and options for transport requests. You are also responsible for other administrative tasks affecting the sales department.

Your contributions:

For this position, you will provide support to the account manager in operation of targeted acquisition. The following tasks also fall within your remit:

• Record, manage and maintain all agreements made with customers;
• Review, complete and follow up tender applications;
• Telephone and written communication with customers;
• Issuing/preparing quotations and price lists;
• Co-responsible for corporate branding on social media content management;
• Make price changes in system and quotations;
• Data analytics.

Your profile:

Besides possessing commercial acumen and being good at working accurately, you can relate to the following profile:

• You hold a relevant commercial mbo degree;
• You are available full-time;
• Communication skills in Dutch and English. An additional language, such as Italian or German is a plus, not a must!
• Some sense or affinity with topography and Excel;
• Preferably in possession of broad and extensive knowledge of the transport industry or at least the desire to acquire such knowledge.
