Your contributions

In addition to advising the MT, staff departments and operational managers on health and safety matters, the following tasks also fall within your remit:

• You write improvement proposals in collaboration with prevention staff;
• You will analyse accident reports and implement corrective actions;
• You perform, coordinate and keep up-to-date RI&Es and associated plans;
• You keep PPE policies, hazard analyses and inventory lists up to date;
• You will liaise with our various branches regarding health and safety issues;
• You will supervise checks on machinery, installations, PPE and other facilities;
• You will provide annual health and safety reporting and chair the HSE committee;
• You follow health and safety developments and implement them when necessary.

Your profile

For this position, we are looking for a candidate with several years of experience in similar role and also:

• Are you in possession of a completed college degree, preferably in the field of occupational hygiene, safety administration or occupational health and safety management;
• You have relevant knowledge of health and safety legislation and regulations and are up to date with the latest developments in the field of safe and healthy working;
• Do you have work experience as a Health and Safety coordinator, SHE specialist or similar position;
• Do you have experience in conducting and updating an RI&E, preferably in a technical environment;
• Experience in change management and project-based working;
• Have strong communication and advisory skills, analytical ability and judgement;
• Are you available for 28 - 40 hours per week.
