Your contributions

As a craftsman, you enjoy the challenge of turning and milling products from drawings and delivering them on time and to the highest quality. You work accurately and ensure that each product meets the specifications and quality standards. With your technical insight, you not only guarantee the quality of the process, but also that of the end product. You feel responsible for what you make and deliver work you are proud of. Thus, with your craftsmanship, you contribute directly to the optimisation of production processes in various industries.

• Performing regular maintenance on the machines to ensure optimal operation;
• Checking products for size and quality and making corrections as necessary;
• Reading and interpreting technical drawings and understanding the properties of different materials;
• Identifying possible improvements and thinking along with you about solutions to optimise production and increase product quality;
• Setting up and operating conventional and/or CNC lathes;
• Supervise machining and adjust parameters if necessary, taking into account stresses and other behaviour of the material;
• Testing and adjusting CNC programmes by means of simulation in consultation with Work Preparation;
• Deburring and chip removal of machined products;
• Retrieve and provide feedback on pre-calculated machine times.

Your profile

• A completed technical education in the direction of Metal;
• Work experience as a conventional and/or CNC turner;
• Good contact skills;
• Hands-on mentality and works in an orderly manner;
• You speak, read and write Dutch;
• Great sense of responsibility;
• Eager to learn and sufficiently ambitious to grow further
