Your contributions

In this versatile commercial office-based role, you will act as the link between customers, suppliers and the field account manager, ensuring that the entire sales process runs smoothly. An additional responsibility in this role is the development of quotations using a visual design programme, such as AutoCAD. Your duties will include: 

• You will proactively support the field account manager and customers throughout the entire sales process, from the request for a quotation to delivery;
• You will develop bespoke interior design solutions and turn these into appropriate quotations;
• You will process and monitor orders and additional deliveries;
• You will liaise with customers and suppliers regarding current enquiries and orders;
• You will handle customer enquiries, requests and complaints and ensure a high level of customer satisfaction;
• You will ensure that enquiries, quotations and orders are processed correctly from a commercial and administrative perspective;
• You actively contribute to improving customer satisfaction;
• You will help drive revenue growth and increase the conversion rate from quotations to orders.

Your profile

To be successful in this role, you’ll need to combine commercial skills with a creative and customer-focused approach. As you’ll be working with design software such as AutoCAD, you’ll also need experience and/or an aptitude for this. Furthermore:

• You have completed a course at MBO+ or HBO level;
• You have 2 to 5 years’ work experience in a similar commercial, creative or project-based role;
• Ideally, you should be available for 40 hours a week; 32 hours is negotiable; 
• You are customer-focused, have strong communication skills and enjoy working with colleagues, customers and suppliers;
• You have commercial acumen and are results-oriented;
• You have an interest in design and creative solutions. Experience with programmes such as SketchUp, Illustrator or Photoshop is an advantage;.
