Your contributions

You monitor the financial health of the organisation and provide the management with sharp analyses, clear advice and valuable insights. You look beyond departmental boundaries, ask the right questions and optimise financial processes and reporting. With your expertise, we ensure that the organisation remains solid and agile in a rapidly changing market.

Work/Core tasks:

  • Monitoring the group's financial position and results;
  • Prepare and develop group financial reports and business analyses for the benefit of the management;
  • Responsible for collecting group data for the purpose of overarching financial reporting;
  • Responsible for the financial process for the Weert location and some foreign branches;
  • Contributes to the continuous optimisation of financial processes;
  • Preparing investment and acquisition issues;
  • Handle other common (ad hoc) issues in the financial field;
  • Supervise and manage staff in the finance department (4 colleagues).

Your profile

For this position, we are looking for someone with analytical skills combined with a pragmatic attitude, someone who is able to delegate tasks and responsibilities and can set the right priorities throughout the day. Naturally, you are proactive and can quickly and skilfully put together analyses. In addition:

  • HBO+/ WO working and thinking level;
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in business control within manufacturing companies complemented by broad experience in financial administration;
  • Experience with the dynamics within a family business is a plus;
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Excel;
  • Knowledge of Power BI is a plus;
  • Full-time available at the Weert office (there are no home working options);
  • Good command of Dutch and English. German is an advantage.
