Your contributions

Working as a Forklift Driver in the Logistics Discharge Department at our client means that you will ensure efficient warehouse layout on a daily basis as you see fit. You do this by putting or stacking the rolls you take off the roller transport at a location of one of our warehouses, or by transporting them to the roll-over machines or secondary processing. And furthermore, you will deal with:

• Safety checks of the forklift and trailer combination before use;
• Removing finished products and then placing them in one of the warehouses;
• Stacking rolls up to a height of +/-8 metres;
• Loading semi-trailer combinations for external and internal transport;
• Communicate and monitor truck drivers' compliance with safety requirements;
• Transporting rolls with semi-trailer combination to other warehouse locations (via public road);
• Emptying waste containers and filling the sleeve hopper;
• Repairing damage to finished products;
• Completing work reports and reporting breakdowns of equipment used;
• Entering role data into the system via a scanner.

Your profile

For this position, we are looking for the following profile:

• You possess a mbo 2 working and thinking level;
• You are available Monday to Friday from 09:00-17:00 or 10:00-18:00;
• And you also hold a T-driving licence and forklift certificate;
• You are sociable, collegial and seek connections easily;
• You take responsibility and have safety in high regard;
• You see work ahead and like to show initiative;
• You can and enjoy working in a team;
• You are tenacious and stress-resistant.

You may occasionally be deployed in the 5-shift roster. This may occur when a colleague in that shift is sick or during holiday periods.
