Your contributions

The Tactical Purchaser ensures optimal procurement of products and services for his/her linked customers and contributes to the highest possible net margin by focusing on price-quality at item level. Further duties include:

• Management of supplier contracts at item level and you purchase optimally according to the KPIs in the annual plan;
• Continuously monitor optimal price-quality levels in all procurement;
• Create margin improvement from the departmental goals and realise a positive impact on the operating result;
• Influence the organisation's cost level through cost reduction;
• Work with the procurement plans and models provided to take a structured and long-term approach to business;
• Ensure optimal mix of suppliers at item level;
• Effectively liaise with suppliers aimed at establishing a good negotiating position in purchasing discussions;
• Realises long-term partnerships, both external and internal;
• Is visible to the outside world, knows how to make a desirable impression and thus create a positive association with the organisation;
• Reports progress and (market) developments to the purchase manager;
• Goes for more than satisfied customers by always going the extra mile, with love for our planet.

Your profile

You are someone who can plan, organise and prioritise well. In addition, we are looking for someone with:

• You have hbo working and thinking level;
• Full-time available, 32 hours is negotiable;
• Possession of Nevi certificate is a plus;
• Experience as a buyer at operational and tactical level;
• A true negotiator with preferably a commercial background;
• You have a strong character and enjoy building long-term relationships;
• You are fluent in Dutch and English.
