Your contributions
As Manager Recreation, you will be responsible for the full operational management of the swimming pool. You will work closely with other managers to improve the guest experience and quality. Besides managing the team, you will contribute to strategic developments and innovations within the park. And you will engage in the following activities:
- Managing the pool team, monitoring strategic guidelines and optimising cooperation;
- Guest experience: Ensuring service and quality, solving problems and responding to guest feedback;
- Safety & hygiene: Monitoring laws and regulations, implementing protocols and identifying unsafe situations;
- Planning & organisation: ensuring staffing, efficient planning and adjusting where necessary;
- Innovation: Develop and improve pool facilities and seek innovations;
- Organisation-wide contribution: Collaborating with departments, participating in MT meetings and leading improvement projects;
- Finance: Drawing up and monitoring budgets, monitoring sales and costs and consulting on technical improvements;
- Team development: recruiting, mentoring and developing employees, with a focus on a motivating work environment;
- Duty services: During duty shifts, ultimately responsible for operational management of the park.
Your profile
For this position, we are looking for a candidate with the following profile:
- Demonstrated experience in a managerial position, preferably in the leisure or swimming pool industry;
- Experience in managing staff and developing teams by motivating and coaching them;
- Knowledge of laws and regulations surrounding safety, hygiene and pool management;
- Strong organisational skills and ability to optimise processes;
- Innovative thinking and experience in initiating new projects or improving existing facilities;
- Strategic insight with a focus on the long-term development of the pool;
- Financial acumen and experience in managing budgets and costs;
- Strong communication skills and a guest-oriented attitude;
- Ability to collaborate with other managers and departments to improve the overall guest experience;
- Flexibility and stress-resistance, being able to switch quickly in emergency situations;
- You have completed ZRZ and first aid training or you will obtain these through us free of charge;
- You are available for 38 hours a week and are also available in both evenings and weekends.
