Your contributions

As a Trade Show Marketing Officer, you will be responsible for organising and executing trade show projects and beyond:

• Analysing and researching new potential trade shows for participation or visits, as well as monitoring market changes and trends to optimise the trade show participation strategy;
• Conceiving and designing stands and product presentations that meet needs and requirements, taking into account available space and budget;
• Planning, coordinating and monitoring the entire project, including budget management, supplier management and resolving any issues that arise during the process;
• You will monitor competitors' activities and translate these insights into areas for improvement for our own organisation.

Besides the various tasks related to trade fairs, you also have a supporting role within the marketing department:

• You will work on internal communication and marketing activities, such as creating newsletters and making presentations. You will also ensure that documentation, business cards and give-a-ways are always in stock;
• You will maintain various websites and web shops within WordPress and optimise our client's online presence through SEO and SEA;
• You will analyse email performance and optimise future campaigns. This includes sending out trade show invitations, thank-you emails and newsletters;
• You will conceive, create and execute marketing and advertising campaigns in collaboration with various colleagues from different departments and branches, contributing to the wider marketing initiative.

Your profile

For this position, we are looking for someone with the following profile:

• You possess the necessary creativity and you know how to put it to good use;
• You have the ability to analyse market trends and competitive data and translate them into strategic decisions for trade show exhibits and marketing campaigns;
• You possess the ability to solve problems quickly and effectively;
• You possess the ability to plan work well, prioritise and meet deadlines;
• Experience with SEO, SEA, and managing websites and web shops within WordPress is a plus, as is knowledge of email marketing tools and strategies;
• You have attention to detail to ensure that the stand meets the highest quality standards and accurately matches the design concept;
• No 9 to 5 mentality. You are willing to work normal and sometimes flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
