Your contributions
As Mechanical Mechanic/ Operator WKC, you and your colleagues are responsible for the optimal supply of the internal utilities required to produce paper. Without optimally functioning installations that supply the machines with steam, electricity, service water and compressed air, the production process will fail. Further:
- Ensure optimal operation, adjustment and control of the installations;
- Match your energy flows to demand from production;
- Based on work orders, you will classify your work and perform all common measurements, analyses and replace parts;
- In case of breakdowns, you investigate the failure and determine the best solution based on appropriate drawings;
- You ensure that the installation is electrically safe;
- Perform assemblies appropriate to relevant failures;
- Evaluate the operation of the part you placed.
Your profile
You like to be busy every day with all kinds of varied tasks and at different locations in the field and in the production environment. You prefer to do this in an informal working environment where you are challenged to develop yourself further. Further:
- You have a completed MBO education level 3 or 4 towards mechanical engineering, mechatronics and/or mechanical operator;
- If you have experience in Refrigeration Techniques, Steam & Condensate, Power Generation or ATEX directives is a plus;
- Preferably, you have experience in an industrial environment, utility environment or international shipping;
- You want to work 40 hours a week and don't mind occasional on-call shifts after some time;
- You are willing to attend training and courses.
