Your contributions
As a Quality and Safety Officer, you are the quality and safety management specialist. You work closely with colleagues from different departments and have a flexible and precise working method. In addition, you function independently, are given every opportunity to make work your own and are invited to contribute to your own development.
Work on quality:
- Internal and external point of contact on quality policy and the quality management system;
- Provide solicited and unsolicited advice on establishing and improving organisational processes and risk management;
- Proactively monitor activities that contribute to maintaining or achieving certifications such as ISO 9001, 14001 and 27001, including (pre-)audits;
- Leading audits and directing internal and external stakeholders;
- Translate business objectives into improvements or adjustments to the quality management system and record this in flow charts;
- Investigate and centrally secure complaints and perform Root Cause Analysis;
- Knowledge and/or experience with process optimisation, e.g. based on Lean or Six Sigma, is a plus;
- Looking across departmental boundaries and assessing cross-departmental consequences.
Work on security:
- Responsible for security policy within the Netherlands;
- Develop, implement and monitor safety policies and procedures;
- Provide solicited and unsolicited advice on safety and working conditions;
- Preparation, monitoring and follow-up of safety reports and risk analyses;
- Act as prevention officer and identify areas for improvement in the working environment;
- Possess or be willing to train as a Safety Engineer;
- Coordinating and directing FAFS officers and Prevention staff;
- Collaborate with managers and employees, as safety is a shared responsibility.
Your profile
For this position, we are looking for a candidate with the following profile:
- HBO/WO education level in the direction of Business Administration, Safety Administration or similar;
- You are available 32 to 40 hours a week;
- Experience in quality, auditing and safety;
- Extensive knowledge of quality management systems and internationally accepted standards such as ISO 9001, 27001 and 14001;
- Knowledge of and affinity with safety standards and regulations;
- Decisive, holds course and knows how to enthuse others tactfully;
- Good command of Dutch and English, both oral and written.
