Your contributions

It is your responsibility to ensure that materials, raw materials, components, and services are procured and delivered in accordance with established conditions. You will perform this task for various departments within the company, making you the central point of contact between suppliers and internal teams. In addition, you will be involved in the following activities:

• Selecting suitable suppliers, negotiating terms and conditions, and providing expert advice;
• Preparing purchase orders, requesting quotations and maintaining contact with suppliers;
• Monitoring the performance and quality of services and products provided;
• Proactively and systematically monitoring whether orders are delivered on time and as agreed;
• Procurement of facilities, such as building management, waste streams, PPE, business cards, printed matter and other support resources;
• Managing various service contracts, including security/alarms, cleaning, and equipment management.

Your profile

For this position as Operational Purchaser, we are seeking a candidate with the following profile:

• You have completed a vocational or higher vocational education programme in engineering (e.g. mechanical engineering).;
• You have several years of demonstrable experience in a similar position;
• Experience in an industrial and technical production environment is an advantage;
• You have good communication skills and are a skilled negotiator;
• You are assertive, decisive and decisive;
• You can work well independently but also as part of a team;
• You are fluent in spoken and written Dutch, English and German.
