Your contributions

Together with the team leader and the rest of your team, you ensure that (mainly) truck tyres are recycled into rubber granulate. You are responsible for the right quantity and quality of rubber granulate. Together with the team leader, you ensure that everything runs safely and smoothly. You work together with colleagues from production, logistics and engineering.

Your duties:

• Managing a team of 6 production workers;
• Ensuring day-to-day operations run smoothly;
• You will supervise production workers in learning the work on-the-job and ensure that they work according to the correct guidelines and regulations;
• You will have work meetings with production staff several times a day;
• You check the production machines, building and grounds for abnormalities, you fix unsafe situations.

If your team leader is present himself, you will work in production and set a good example for the production workers.
Naturally, you are then the first point of contact for the team leader and support him where necessary. You take over if he is not present.

Work is in 3 shifts, morning shift: 06:00-14:00, afternoon shift from 14:00-22:00 and night shift from 22:00-06:00.

Your profile

We are looking for an adequate and accurate person who gets excited about working with technology. Furthermore, you possess:

• Experience of leading or managing people;
• Work experience in manufacturing in an industrial environment;
• In possession of a valid forklift certificate or willing to obtain one;
• Available to work 3-shifts and are flexible to work overtime if necessary;
• BHV or first aid training are a plus.

Based in Nederweert, our client specialises in sustainable recycling of tyres, processing them into granulates and powders for reuse in various end products, among other things.
The client is located in Nederweert and is easily accessible from Eindhoven, Helmond, Roermond, Sittard. But also from the border area of Belgium.
