Your contributions

In this position, together with a team of operators, you are responsible for PC-PLC controlled processes in Bio reactors. You monitor the fermentation processes and make adjustments where necessary. You also support R&D with research and test productions of e.g. vegetable dairy substitutes, natural colourings and non-animal protein. Due to the diversity of products and process lines, you will experience variety in your daily work.

To carry out your work well, you will work intensively with colleagues from the production departments and R&D, as well as with colleagues from the Quality, Technology and Planning departments.

Key tasks include:

• You will operate one or more process lines;
• With the team, you are responsible for achieving production planning and R&D targets
• You will fix minor malfunctions and perform equipment maintenance in cooperation with engineering;
• You identify problems and suggest improvements;
• You will be working in a food environment and keeping the equipment and your working environment clean is very important.

The work is in 2 shifts. The morning shift works from 05.30-14.00 and the afternoon shift works from 13.30-22.00.

Your profile

For this position, we are looking for someone who has experience as an operator and preferably in the food industry. In addition, we require:

• Some work experience in a similar role;
• You are a team player;
• You are flexible, resilient and willing to work with your colleagues to do what is needed and more;
• A MAS, VAPRO B or MTS education completed is a plus;
• Experience with continuous improvement (TPM/Lean) is a plus;
• Command of the Dutch language;
• Knowledge of English a must, knowledge of German desirable.
