Your contributions

As Operator Preparation, you are responsible for keeping the installations in the Preparation hall running optimally. You ensure that circular raw materials are processed safely and efficiently into high-quality plastic flakes. The following tasks also fall within your remit:

• Setting up, operating, maintaining and controlling the installations in the Preparation hall;
• Monitor and drive the entire Preparation process;
• Monitoring of process parameters via HMI systems;
• Signalling and troubleshooting;
• Ensuring a stable and efficient production process;
• Contribute to improvement initiatives and continuous optimisation of processes.

Your profile

For this position, we are looking for a candidate with the following profile:

• You hold an MBO diploma, or MBO level obtained through experience, in the direction of Process Technology or Vapro;
• You have at least a few years' experience in the industry;
• You are available full-time in 5 shifts;
• You have Trouble shooting experience in a process environment;
• You have experience performing mechanical work, think tinkering with machines;
• You hold a forklift certificate or are willing to obtain one;
• You have a command of the Dutch language both verbally and in writing;
• Affinity with sustainability is an advantage.

Our client is a leading organisation within the chemical sector that creates solutions for a more sustainable everyday life, with a site in Geleen as an important part of this. This location is a dynamic organisation with the ambition to tackle recycling in an innovative way: the large-scale replacement of polymers produced from oil or gas. 

They are based in Geleen and therefore easily accessible to Maastricht, Sittard, Heerlen and Roermond.
