Your contributions

For our client in the Roermond area (in Haelen), we are looking for an all-round order picker. In this role, you are responsible for picking, packing and labelling various products. The products that are picked and then packed vary in size and weight.

Working hours:

• The organisation works in a 2-shift system. This is Monday to Friday all week either from 07:00-15:30 or all week from 15:00-23:30!). Preferably, you will join this. Occasionally there are day shift opportunities from 08.30-17.00.
• The strong preference is for colleagues for 40 hours (full-time). Should you be available for 32 hours that is also possible and if you have super experience as an Order Picker we could also discuss 24 hours a week with the organisation!
• Occasionally you will work a day at the weekend, which will be in a day shift work schedule. This occurs on a limited basis and is at a considerable surcharge of 125% on Saturdays and 150% on Sundays.

Your profile

No experience is required for this position! However, the following is important:

• You can work meticulously, reading off and picking the right articles to minimise errors;
• You are available in 2-shifts, possibly in exceptional cases day shift is not excluded;
• You hold a reach truck certificate or have experience driving a reach truck;
• You are physically fit, as the products can range from small items to large(er) packages;
• You speak the Dutch language. If you do not speak Dutch, that is not a problem but you do speak English well;
• You have experience in logistics as an order picker, or you have a go-getter mentality and enjoy learning the tricks of the logistics trade;
• You live in the Haelen area.

Your workplace

Our client in the Roermond region has opened an attractive newly built distribution centre where they have all logistics activities under one roof. It is a fullfilment company where that daily goods for webshops are distributed. From the multiple warehouses, a team of +/- 100 employees work daily to offer customers full logistics services. A larger organisation with the charms of a family business, everyone knows each other and the company continues to grow!
