Your contributions
In this position, you will develop new products and recipes. You will also follow trends and developments, see technological challenges in the market, seize these opportunities and take action.
You will maintain close contacts with various disciplines such as Sales, Purchasing, Production and Quality and with suppliers of ingredients, raw materials and process equipment. Supervising pilot productions is also part of the job. In addition, you are responsible for accurately recording these products and recipes in our database. You report directly to the Manager Application in Roggel. The team in which you work is varied and consists of 8 people.
In short: a broad R&D function from product concept to release with the following tasks:
- Develop and optimise products and recipes for various product development teams in the field of alcoholic and non-alcoholic dairy and non-dairy emulsions;
- Developing and optimising existing products, recipes and technologies;
- Working optimally on customer projects (B2C);
- Acting in accordance with the quality standards applied and monitoring constant cost reduction in client assignments;
- Correctly analyse, record and maintain product specified data in our database;
- Make requested and unsolicited improvement proposals and actively participate in the process;
- Monitoring and controlling inventory, quality of raw and auxiliary materials and finished products;
- Active involvement in the development of new processes and methodologies.
Your profile:
The most important thing is the background/education in (HAS) Food Technology.
- You (preferably) already have some experience in the beverage industry preferably in an international role;
- You have knowledge of SAP;
- You are flexible, results-oriented, enterprising, creative and pragmatic;
- You have very good social and communication skills, are fluent in Dutch (German and English is a plus);
- You have strong analytical thinking skills, work independently and have a high sense of responsibility;
- You are preferably available full-time, possibly working 32 hours a week is also possible.
