Your contributions
As a Regional Manager, you will be responsible for the commercial development of your region and for maintaining strong customer relationships. You will spend a lot of time on the road, liaising with various stakeholders and ensuring that market opportunities are capitalised on. Your duties will include:
- Actively maintaining and developing relationships with existing and potential customers;
- Visiting and advising customers and clients within your territory;
- Identifying commercial opportunities and market trends;
- Building new client relationships within the construction, civil engineering and infrastructure sectors;
- Holding discussions with, amongst others, local authorities, contractors, engineering firms and other business partners;
- Advising clients on suitable technical solutions;
- Drawing up commercial plans and contributing to the achievement of turnover targets;
- Working closely with colleagues in the office and other departments;
- Monitoring market developments and translating these into commercial opportunities;
- Representing the organisation during client visits, projects and relevant meetings.
Mondays and Fridays are office days; the rest of the week you’ll mainly be out visiting clients.
Your profile
You are an enterprising and results-driven professional who thrives on customer contact and commercial growth. You know how to build relationships, are well-informed about market developments and are a valuable discussion partner for customers. In addition, you possess:
- Experience in a commercial field sales role within the construction, civil engineering or infrastructure sectors;
- At least MBO+ level of working and thinking, preferably with a technical or construction background;
- Strong communication and commercial skills;
- An independent, practical and solution-oriented approach;
- A down-to-earth approach, persuasiveness and perseverance;
- The motivation to achieve commercial results together with colleagues.
Your workplace
Our client is based in Weert and is therefore easily accessible from Roermond, Eindhoven, Nederweert and Helmond.
