Your reward
In addition to being employed directly by our client, we offer the following:
- A salary between €3186.00 and €4842.00 gross per month, depending on knowledge and experience;
- 30 holidays on full-time basis;
- Travel allowance of €0.23 per km, all kilometres will be reimbursed;

Your contributions
In this role, you will be the connecting factor between concept and realisation, giving direction to mechanical and electromechanical solutions and ensuring that ideas are translated into manufacturable, technically strong products. In addition, your duties consist of:
- You translate mechanical and electromechanical requirements into a clear and structured approach;
- You develop conceptual solution directions and define the technical frameworks;
- You direct mechanical designs in terms of content and assess their quality;
- You identify technical risks, inconsistencies and manufacturability issues;
- You thoroughly test physical samples and analyse the results;
- You draw up test plans and monitor progress;
- You coordinate intensively with teams within electronics, software and production;
- You clearly substantiate technical choices and ensure clear communication towards involved stakeholders.
Your profile
You are an analytical and pragmatic engineer who is conceptually strong but always keeps an eye on manufacturability and collaboration.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Product Development or Mechatronics;
- 3 to 6 years of relevant experience within product development;
- Strong conceptual and analytical thinking skills;
- Experience with CAD (developing, reading and reviewing designs);
- Good knowledge of metal structures, materials and fasteners;
- Basic knowledge of electronics and electromechanics;
- Practical, solution-oriented and used to working in multidisciplinary teams;
- Experience with prototyping (e.g. 3D printing) is a plus;
- Preferably 40 hours per week, 32 hours is negotiable;
- Good command of English; German is a plus.
