Your contributions

As Production Team Leader, you are the person who makes sure everything on the shop floor is right. You manage several production lines and ensure that people, planning and processes fit together seamlessly. You are visibly present, switch quickly and know exactly what is going on. At the same time, you look ahead: you identify improvement opportunities and ensure that they are actually implemented. You are the link between the shop floor and management.
Your duties will include:

• Lead multiple production lines on a daily basis and ensure planning and staffing are in order;
• Coaching, engaging and helping employees and line leaders develop;
• Monitor quality, output and progress and take immediate action in case of deviations;
• Clearly communicates with both the shop floor and management;
• Actively works to improve processes, collaboration and results.

Your profile

For this role, we are looking for a team leader who is both strong in terms of content and knows how to connect and develop people. We are looking for someone who recognises themselves in the following profile:

• MBO+/HBO working and thinking level, preferably in the field of Electronics; 
• Electronics (PCBs) experience is a requirement; 
• Minimum 3 years' experience in a leadership role within a manufacturing environment;
• Affinity with (discrete) manufacturing and continuous improvement;
• You can read production data and translate it into concrete actions;
• You are fluent in Dutch (English is an advantage);
• You are a leader who is close to the shop floor: clear where necessary, coaching where possible;
• You take initiative, grab responsibility and don't wait;
• You easily switch between different levels and get people on board for change;
• You have an eye for results and for the team behind those results.
