Your contributions
As Technical Sales Manager, you will be responsible for selling the complete packaging line. This involves investments of 1-20 million. Furthermore, these are your duties:
- You will be the point of contact for production sites, sales offices and customers for technical and commercial support of line solution projects;
- You strive to achieve sales targets globally;
- You will act as a sales promoter, knowledge centre and representative;
- You will help regional sales teams target the right audiences;
- You lead the various sales phases to maximise the success rate and manage risks;
- You gather market information determines the strategy and positioning of the existing machine portfolio. You also stimulate innovation based on application knowledge;
- You will initiate and develop sales tools for the regional sales teams.
Your profile
For this position, experience in mechanical engineering is a plus. However, you should have:
- You have a Bachelor's or Master's degree in a technical field, complemented by commercial knowledge, or a commercial degree with a demonstrable affinity for technology and engineering. Strong project sales skills are essential.
- You are customer-oriented, have excellent communication skills and an entrepreneurial commercial attitude.
- You have experience in international line project sales.
- Your command of English is excellent, both orally and in writing. Knowledge of German, French, Spanish or Dutch is a plus.
- A 9-to-5 mentality does not suit this job.
- You are eager to learn and promote our client's full portfolio. This requires regular attendance at various locations.
- You are willing to travel regularly (at least 50% of the time), both for customer appointments and to visit production sites.

Our client in Weert is a leading global supplier of process and packaging technology. Its portfolio of intelligent and sustainable technologies includes stand-alone machines as well as complete systems and services. Application areas in the pharmaceutical industry include production, processing, filling, inspection and packaging of liquid and solid medicines (such as syringes and capsules). In the food industry, the portfolio includes process technology for confectionery as well as packaging solutions for dry foods (e.g. bars, bakery products and coffee), frozen foods and dairy products.
Our client is located in Weert and is therefore easily accessible from Nederweert, Roermond, Eindhoven and Echt.
