Your contributions

As a prevention officer, you deal with health and safety in the workplace. You advise on occupational risks and take measures so that risks are reduced or eliminated. You are a safe and accessible point of contact for employees. In addition, these are your responsibilities:

• Identify and report occupational health and safety bottlenecks;
• Run periodic inspection rounds to check compliance with health and safety guidelines;
• Be a health and safety hotline for dangerous situations, (near) incidents and health and safety complaints;
• Analyse / evaluate dangerous situations;
• Participate in the preparation of the RI&E;
• Follow up on the action plan from the RI&E;
• Prepare curriculum and provide support for staff training;
• Provide training such as BHV, Forklift, etc. necessary for the work;
• Providing toolbox measurements.

Your profile

For this position, we are looking for someone entrepreneurial and decisive. You can change gear quickly and you know how to connect parties involved in the right way. In addition, you possess:

• A completed mbo education and used to working with a PC;
• You enjoy playing a pivotal safety role;
• You are fluent in both oral and written Dutch;
• 16 hours per week available;
• You have completed FAFS training or are inclined to obtain it at short notice;
• Work experience in a similar position within a manufacturing environment is a plus.
