Your contributions

As a Conventional Machinist, you will work in the metal department. In this department, you will manufacture metal and plastic cores for brushes. You will also take care of the assembly and disassembly of the brush cores and you will study their composition. The work is carried out on the basis of a production order with accompanying technical drawings. The following tasks are also part of the range of duties:

• Turning and milling metal and plastic brush cores based on a production order;
• Produce a wide variety of cores for a variety of brushes;
• Checking quality and specifications;
• Working to a schedule and monitoring the progress of work;
• Maintain production equipment;
• Keeping your own workplace safe, orderly and clean.

Your profile

• Education VMBO-metal, MBO WTB working and thinking level;
• Experience in machining technology;
• High degree of accuracy, flexibility and independence;
• Knowledge and/or experience of reading technical drawings;
• Good command of the Dutch language in words and writing.
