We are looking for an all-round maintenance and breakdown engineer on behalf of our client! Are you versatile in the fields of electrical engineering and mechanics? Then read on! 

Your reward

For this position, we would like to offer you the following:

  • A gross monthly salary of between €3,179.00 and €4,780.00, excluding shift allowance, depending on your knowledge and experience;

Your contributions

As well as maintaining and optimising production machinery and carrying out repair work, you will also be involved in the following tasks:

  • Repairing parts and carrying out emergency repairs in the event of breakdowns;
  • Actively contributing to improvements to machinery and technical installations;
  • Resolving faults with the machinery quickly and effectively, working alongside colleagues;
  • Troubleshooting technical problems with industrial systems, such as cooling, electricity, compressed air and water;
  • Accurately recording maintenance and fault-repair work in the records.

Your profile

For this position, we are looking for a candidate with the following profile:

  • You must have at least a completed MBO 4 qualification in Electrical Engineering or Mechatronics with demonstrable knowledge of mechanical engineering, or a completed MBO 4 qualification in Mechanical Engineering with a strong interest in electrical engineering;
  • You hold a VCA certificate or are willing to obtain one;
  • You have experience of carrying out periodic inspections and the associated tasks;
  • You have extensive work experience in a similar role within a manufacturing environment;
  • You have experience in fault analysis in the electrical, mechanical, pneumatic and hydraulic fields;
  • You are available to work full-time on a three-shift rota.
  • You will assist external parties with maintenance work and ensure safety whilst this work is being carried out;
  • You are able to work well independently, show initiative and have a proactive approach to your work;
  • You work to high standards in the areas of safety, hygiene, order and tidiness.
