Your contributions

You will be working in a stable and modern production environment in Roermond. In the role of Logistics Team Leader, you will be responsible for the Outbound department, where finished products are stored and loaded. You will manage a team of 15 to 20 staff members on a daily basis and work closely with the Senior Logistics Staff and the All-round Logistics Manager.
You will be working on the following tasks:

• Managing, coaching and developing forklift operators and logistics staff;
• Ensuring efficient staff planning across the various shifts;
• Coordinating with production, the supply chain and external carriers;
• Identifying and resolving bottlenecks within the logistics process;
• Ensuring safety, quality and compliance with agreed arrangements.

The logistics department consists of two sections: Inbound and Outbound. You will be responsible for the Outbound section and will work closely with staff on a two-shift rota, whilst you yourself will work a flexible day shift rota. You will start between 07:00 and 07:30 and finish your working day between 16:00 and 16:30.
You will report to the All-round Logistics Manager and will be given plenty of scope to contribute ideas on how to improve our logistics processes and the organisation. The working atmosphere is down-to-earth, professional and supportive, with a strong focus on collaboration and development.

Your profile

For this position, we are looking for a decisive and coaching leader who stands firmly in his or her shoes.In addition, you recognise yourself in the following:

• You have MBO+ working and thinking level, preferably in logistics;
• You have experience within a logistics or industrial environment;
• You have experience in a managerial position;
• You have knowledge of logistics processes and transport planning;
• You have experience with systems such as SAP and MS Office / Excel;
• You hold a forklift certificate and/or VCA or are willing to obtain them;
• You have a good command of the Dutch language;
• German and/or English is nice.
