Your reward

We are looking for one Assistant Accountant to work between 28 and 40 hours per week. You can work from Weert or Roermond. 

• A gross monthly salary of between €3,500 and €4,500 on a full-time basis, depending on your experience and what you bring to the role;
• 26 days’ holiday on a full-time basis;

Your contributions

As an Assistant Accountant, you’re not just someone who checks whether the figures are correct after the fact. You look beyond that.
At this company, you’ll be given the freedom to work independently, liaise directly with business owners and actually act on the recommendations arising from your work.

You’ll prepare annual accounts independently for various business owners and ensure their financial records are rock-solid. During this process, you’ll often spot opportunities, risks or areas where advice could be useful. And that’s exactly where you make a difference.

Your duties will include, amongst other things:

• The preparation of annual accounts;
• Preparing tax returns;
• Analysing financial data;
• Identifying opportunities to provide advice and specific details;
• Maintain direct contact with business owners;
• Dealing with customer enquiries independently;
• Working with the account manager and colleagues;
• Helping clients to explore ways in which they can achieve further growth, both financially and in terms of tax.

You’ll have a lot of freedom in this role. You don’t need to go through three levels of approval for every query. If you spot something with a client, you simply discuss it. If you’ve got a good idea, you’ll be given the freedom to get started on it.
