Your contributions

As Assistant Team Leader, you are the right-hand man to the Team Leader and play an important role in ensuring that the daily logistics processes run smoothly. You work actively on the floor, keeping an overview and supporting colleagues where necessary to achieve set goals together. Your duties consist of: 

• You have a real hands-on mentality, collaborating and assisting the Team Leader in driving the picking and packing process so that the set KPIs are achieved;
• You will support the Team Leader in operational, administrative and coordinating work within the team;
• You will ensure correct stock records, including analysing and resolving stock discrepancies and preparing stock checks and counts;
• You instruct, inform and supervise (new) employees so that work is carried out safely, efficiently and according to the applicable guidelines.

Your profile

For this position, we are looking for a logistics professional who brings the following:

• Minimum 2 years' experience in a logistics role;
• You work very precisely and accurately;
• You can work very well independently but also support your colleagues in their work;
• Good verbal and written knowledge of the English language is a requirement;
• Good verbal and written knowledge of the Dutch language is an advantage;
• You are available full-time in alternating shifts between 7am - 11.30pm;
• Alternately also available on weekends (with supplement).
