Your contributions

As an Internal Sales Assistant, you’ll act as a key link between the customer, the account manager and your colleagues. You’ll ensure that enquiries are dealt with, commitments are honoured and customers know exactly where they stand.

Your duties will include:

• You’ll be the first point of contact for customers and will help them with enquiries about products, orders and deliveries;
• You’ll be in daily contact with customers by telephone and email;
• You work closely with customers to find practical and suitable solutions;
• You will support the account manager in maintaining and expanding the client portfolio;
• You actively follow up on client appointments and commercial opportunities;
• You will draw up quotations and ensure they are properly followed up;
• You will process and oversee orders;
• You’ll ensure a good after-sales service and keep in touch with customers following a delivery;
• You’ll liaise with colleagues from departments including procurement, logistics, finance and sales;
• You’ll contribute ideas on commercial opportunities and market developments.

You don’t have to be the best salesperson on the team. But you do need to be someone who likes to contribute ideas, spots opportunities and ensures that customers receive the best possible service.

Your profile

For this role, we are looking for someone who enjoys working with people and likes to combine business with customer contact.
You recognise yourself in the following:

• You have a level of working and thinking equivalent to MBO(+);
• You are customer-focused and get a real buzz from interacting with customers;
• You have a commercial mindset and can spot opportunities;
• You think in terms of solutions and enjoy finding the right answers for customers;
• You have a good command of the Dutch language;
• A good command of English (and, if possible, German or French) would be an advantage;
• Experience in a commercial office-based role is an advantage, but not a strict requirement.

Do you have an interest in packaging, logistics or a commercial environment? That’s a bonus, but here too, your attitude and motivation are what matter most to us.
