Your contributions
Within this transport organisation with 185 employees spread over several divisions and locations, you are an important connecting factor. You switch effortlessly between drivers, planners, team leaders and management and know exactly what is going on within the organisation. Just like you know where the vacancies are. No day is the same in a sector that runs 24/6 - and it is precisely that dynamic of keeping the vacancy rate as low as possible here that gives you energy. Your focus is on Recruitment & Selection. You are the specialist within the HR team.
Together with a (Senior) HR Assistant and the HR & Finance Manager, you will form a committed HR team in which cooperation, taking responsibility and short lines of communication are key.
What are you doing?
- You are visible within the organisation and really get to know employees so that you connect with them & regularly visit different locations and divisions;
- You will be the point of contact for managers on a variety of HR issues and pick up job vacancies for them from A to Z;
- You liaise with external parties employment agencies;
- You will provide Employer Branding and make the company brand a stronger name in the Weert region;
- You will process drivers' and temps' hours on a weekly basis;
- You will support in payroll and absence administration;
- You keep up to date with current laws and regulations within HR and transport;
- You think solution-oriented and switch gears quickly when situations call for it.
Your profile
The most important thing in this position is that you have solid experience within the HR profession. You do not have to be able to do everything yet, but do have the ambition to develop yourself further. It would be nice if you already have some experience in conducting job interviews, assessing CVs, etc. so that the Recruitment & Selection tasks can really become your thing.
- You preferably have MBO+ working and thinking level;
- You speak Dutch and English. You understand the Limburg language and culture;
- You are socially strong and know how to easily connect with different types of people;
- You stand firm and dare to enter into conversations;
- You are flexible, committed and think in solutions;
- You work accurately and can switch well between different tasks;
- You are preferably available full-time. 32 or 36 hours per week is negotiable;
- Experience with AFAS is a plus.

Our client is part of an international logistics service provider in both Transport and Logistics. They are based in Weert and therefore easily accessible from Roermond, Echt, Valkenswaard, border area Belgium and Helmond.
