As an Operational Buyer, you play a key role in ensuring the smooth running of the procurement process. You ensure that the right products are available at the right time and that customers can count on reliable delivery. Working with various internal and external parties, you’ll constantly be seeking the best balance between price, quality and stock levels. Your reward
For this role, you can expect the following terms and conditions of employment:
- A gross monthly salary of between €2,650 and €3,400, depending on your knowledge and experience;

Your contributions
As an Operational Purchaser, you will be responsible for procuring products and services efficiently and meticulously for your assigned clients. In doing so, you will constantly ensure the right balance between price and quality, thereby contributing to an optimal net margin. Your duties will include:
- Processing and entering purchase orders into the ERP system;
- Checking and assessing discrepancies in orders and invoices;
- Seeking suitable alternatives to products and services where necessary;
- Monitoring delivery times and order statuses, and identifying recurring discrepancies in prices and deliveries;
- Ensuring the best possible value for money throughout the entire procurement process;
- Maintaining professional and effective relationships with suppliers;
- Addressing first-line operational issues raised with suppliers and following up on improvement measures.
Your profile
For this position, we are looking for a candidate who recognises the following profile:
- You have mbo working and thinking level;
- You are available full-time;
- A degree in a business-related subject would be an advantage;
- Experience in operational procurement is an advantage;
- You have a good command of Dutch and English. Knowledge of German would be an advantage.

The work is carried out with a strong focus on sustainability, efficiency and supply chain optimisation, with both product and logistics factored into the solutions.
