Your contributions

Together with your team leader, you ensure that used truck tyres are transformed into new rubber granulate. That means monitoring quality, managing, cooperating and keeping an eye on things. You are a real linchpin in the production process.

These are your duties:

• Managing a team of 6 production workers;
• Ensuring that daily operations run smoothly and safely;
• You guide your colleagues in learning the work and supervise correct working methods;
• You conduct work consultations, several times a day, with your team;
• You check machines, buildings and the site - you spot unsafe situations and solve them.

Is the team leader present? Then you work in production and set a good example. Is he not there? Then you take over and you are the first point of contact on the shop floor.

You will work in a 3-shift operation:

• Morning: 06:00 - 14:00
• Afternoon: 2 p.m. - 10 p.m.
• Night: 22.00 - 06.00

Your profile

Technology, managing people and a safe working environment - these are exactly the things that energise you! Furthermore, you bring the following:

• You have experience in leading or managing a team;
• You have worked in an industrial manufacturing environment;
• You hold a valid forklift certificate or are willing to obtain one;
• Working in 3 shifts? No problem - you are flexible and think in solutions;
• Do you have a BHV or first aid diploma? Then score extra points!

Your workplace

Our client is an international player in sustainable recycling. You will work in a fixed shift, with a fixed shift leader. The team is approximately between 5-10 people per team. You will join a close-knit team in Nederweert, easily accessible from Weert, Roermond, Someren, Echt, Valkenswaard, Budel and Helmond.
