Working in 5 shifts involves the following You will work 2 morning shifts from 06.00-14.00, 2 afternoon shifts from 14.00-22.00 and 2 night shifts from 22.00-06.00 consecutively. After these 6 working days, you will have 4 days off. After those 4 days off, you start again with 2 mornings then 2 afternoons and you finish again with 2 night shifts. This repeats itself in a fixed rhythm, so you can look and plan ahead for a whole year!

Your contributions

As an Operator, you will keep a close eye on the machine using various programmes in the control room, and also work on the machine itself. This can be at various places on the machine, where you are responsible for one or (with more experience) several processes within the production. In addition, you will have the following tasks:

• Signalling progress process and/or quality issues;
• Ensuring the right materials so that working conditions are optimal;
• Ensuring product and process quality;
• You perform control rounds on the machine and, in case of any problems, make sure they are solved quickly;
• Where necessary, you call in a specialist to resolve faults;
• Ensure proper compliance with company safety regulations;
• You ensure that the working environment is kept clean.

You will work in a close-knit team of operators who strive every shift to keep the machine running as well as possible. You will also collaborate on the improvements to be made during major maintenance stops.

Your profile

• A completed MBO 4 education + 5 years' experience as a process operator or Vapro B;
• Experience/affinity with engineering and as a process operator;
• Command of the Dutch language both verbally and in writing and have good communication skills;
• Logical understanding of cause, action and effect;
• In possession of VCA or willing to obtain it in the first weeks;
