Your contributions

Together with your team, you will build a stable and professional relationship with existing and new customers and promote the product and service portfolio. You also maintain contacts with key accounts and suppliers. Furthermore, the following tasks fall within the range of duties:

• Jointly achieve pre-set targets. This enables you to strengthen and grow the position of the brands. You work closely with the marketing department. Together, you map the market, spot opportunities & threats and develop the sales strategy;
• By coaching your team of account managers, you will take the department to the next level;
• You will draft and maintain various policies including discount policy/ pricing policy;
• Together with product management, you expand the product range based on opportunities and developments in the market;
• In relevant projects, you are a catalyst;
• Actively monitor and manage sales, margin and costs of the Export Department.

Your profile

For the position of Sales Manager Export, we are looking for a candidate with the following profile:

• You have a completed college education;
• You have several years of sales experience in a preferably technical environment;
• You have a proactive and entrepreneurial attitude and are analytically and communicatively strong;
• Your leadership style puts team spirit and collegiality first. You are also course-setting and results-oriented;
• Collaboration, solution-oriented, ambitious and fun are our client's core values. You therefore apply these daily in your work and relationships with others and recognise yourself in them;
• You have a good command of the Dutch and English languages;
• You will have the opportunity to travel on a regular basis (25%).
