Your contributions

For this position, you will be responsible for the procurement process of our client's products and services. You dare to enter into negotiations with existing and future partners. Furthermore, the following tasks fall within the Strategic Purchaser's remit:

• You lead supplier management and set up partnerships with external parties;
• You secure agreements with suppliers in contracts;
• You conduct market research (business-to-business), actively seeking out potential suppliers;
• You draft annual departmental plans, fitting within our client's vision and ambition;
• Travelling abroad, think Far East, is part of your duties.

Your profile

For this position, we are looking for someone with the following profile:

• You possess a hbo/wo working and thinking level and technical affinity;
• You have demonstrable work experience in procurement, including experience with Far Eastern procurement, preferably complemented by completed NEVI 1 and NEVI 2 training;
• You have at least five years of relevant work experience;
• You are available full-time;
• Excellent command of the Dutch and English languages in word and writing, knowledge of German is a plus;
• You possess good negotiation skills at an international level.
